I am pleased that you have decided to visit my website where you can gain an insight not only into the professional success of my kennel of miniature and kaninchen dachshunds, but also into the everyday life of my dogs. My dogs are shown at various inspections and are judged at dogshows. Over the years I have done my best to involve in breeding only those individuals who will not produce puppies with any problems or disorders.
I believe that the temperament of puppie's parents, thanks to the selective breeding, has changed to their advantage. The original willfulness/stubborness of the breed that was a positive trait when dachshunds were used as hunting dogs, has by changed to make them ideal pets for those living in cities and who can take their dogs only for shorter walks.
They are friendly, are not nervous or frightened, hence they are not aggressive. They are emotionally and temperamentally well balanced.

Excellent quality short-haired kaninchen black and tan dachshund puppies with excellent genetic background and stable nervous system are now for sale from miniature parents.
Mini Diktator Kabala is of an excellent bloodline and is a show quality, pleasant
looking dog, well-sized for his age, with the constitutional characteristics
of the breed. He is a well-developed stud dog. He is structurally well built,
with beautiful, soft ligature, and overall presents a pleasing picture with
a nice masculine head in harmony with this type, well-proportioned. Nicely
arched, muscular neck that leads softly into the well-placed shoulder. Nice
prosternum. Strong, optimally short, well-ribbed torso, fully in keeping with
the present breeding requirements. Ideal upper line. Symmetrical limbs from
both the front and behind. Well-balanced and proportioned body. Ideally pigmented
eyes, animated, intelligent, friendly look. The hair is of the required color
and composition. The dog maintains the hunting dog characteristics, his beauty
is fulfilled when he is in motion. To summarize my impressions: he is very
close to the line that I personally prefer.
The mother is also of champion blood of an ideal size. Hungária Junior
Champion, 2014 year junior female, 3x Hungária Príma Junior,
1x R.CAC, 5x CAC, CACT 1 , 6x Best of Breed, 5x BOG, BOG II 1 BOG III, 2 x
BIS III, 2 x Hungária Derby Winner, She is a small bitch suitably developed
for her age, well drawn, of lively temperament and statically good equilibrium.
Dark pigmented, nice eyes, a feminine head well in keeping with her size.
Correctly proportioned, tight, well-muscled shoulder girdle. Ideally supported
– with staunch elbows – well-ribbed torso, good ground-chest distance.
Excellent bones and firm, unexaggerated back angulation. In keeping with her
body mass index and age, she has a well-proportioned head, bone strength,
and a ribcage of suitable length and depth. Her movements are even, her short
steps are paired with the appropriate pushing strength. The required stance
is supported by tight paws, well elongated and held tail, energetic and effortless
movement. An excellent representative of the breed, who, in my opinion, represents
the ideal dachshund as described in the standards.
The grandparents are also Champion qualified.
The puppies are raised in a family environment and are well socialized, their
pre-tutoring for potty training has started.
They have received all the vaccinations required at their age, are pedigreed,
have been microchipped and are treated regularly with vermifuge.

A dog show is so much more than just a few hour’s event. It encompasses weeks’ long strict preparation followed by a „bash” that – on the Big Day - starts already at dawn. Meeting all those other dogs again with whom it would be much better to simply play than compete, the excitement of dogs and owners, alike: will the dog be in the required form, will he/she fulfill the requirements, will he/she go around the ring in a good, but disciplined mood? And all this excitement is multiplied when the event is the final one of the year where the dogs can also compete for the title of “Derby winner”.
And yes, the Derby Winner for 2015 has been chosen ... Hubertus Primus Whisper –10 months of age – who, with this achievement, has also won the title of Hungária Junior Champion. Congratulations!

It was only after the „official” photos were taken that we realized – when looking at her shadow - that our 10-month old champion is, in reality a pony with a huge mane. Whisper likes to tease us.

3200 dogs from 17 countries were entered for the international competition that had been founded by the Hungarian Kennel Club. In the frame of 2 days, the judges appraised 3200 dogs. This year kennels of the Hungarian breeds were well represented in the competition.

The Hungarian Dachshund Club’s exhibition is a special, annual event for us all. This year this special, 11th, occasion was even more gratifying as it was organized at a truly wonderful location: in Komárom, in an edification whose walls are rendolent with age, Fort Monostor.
The number of participants increases from year to year at this event that is slowly but surely becoming acknowledged in the international arena.
This year we were rooting for Salsa who, much to our joy, won the 2015 Club Winner award.

Irrespectively of the amount of work and tasks to be achieved at a dog show, there is always time for a short look around to admire the beautiful members of other breeds. We, too, are proud when our pint-sized, short legged – albeit this is their true attracton – friends are praised and complimented. To date however, we have never received such a compliment as this time: a lady passing by compared or short-legged friends to Coco Chanel’s „small blacky”. This just goes to show:
„Fashion may change, but style remains”.
In the „junior handlers” competition Balázs Arató was awarded III. place with Opus.

Weather can make or break the success of an open-air dog show. Well, this weekend, those responsible for rain and puddles truly outdid their best. As a result of the unending rain, the strips became wallos, everyone – going around with heads bent - was soaked to the skin.
All, that is, except the stars themselves: The dachshunds!

Despite the fact that in this year’s series of dog shows this day provided the worst possible weather, Salsa and Opus outdid themselves and came away with excellent results.

Oswald and his owners on a trip to Austria:
A dachshund is happy if his owner accompanies him to the far corner of the garden and jumps head-over-heals into the joys of discovery – slugs, prickly chestnut balls, catch-water drain – over the mere 10 meter long trip. But when it comes to a real trip … When the collar and leash suddenly appear and we sit in a car – now that is pure heaven. And added to all this, we go all the way to the beautiful Alps, where the grass is emerald green, the sky is incredibly blue, the water of the lake is crystal clear and even the cows – smelling of straw – are friendly. Dachshund and owners enjoy this to the full – whether on foot or simply lying down side-by-side for a short break.
We wish Oswald and his family many similar such trips!

When Johnnie returned to the Hubertus Primus Kennel at the age of 2 years, I promised him that I would find him a family with whom he could go hiking or play on weekends. Today, Johnnie has a very active life. He is quite visibly in love with his new owner and even the cold weather does not disturb him in his regular excercises. Johnnie and his owners successfully passed the dog obedience exam at the local dog school.

The well known judge Attila Czeglédi judged Dachshunds. He gave a very nice critique and CAC,CACIB titles to our young pride. I was even more proud when he finished his critique with the following sentence: „ She is very close to the Standard in my eyes.”

of the shorthaired miniature sized dachshunds in Eszék, Croatia.
He took the 3rd place in the summary result!

We started this day early in the morning with big expectations in our heart, and set sail for the journey to show the miniature sized intermediet classed Anton and the kaninchen young classed Cille dogs to the judge college in Kiskunfélegyháza. The criticism was correct and very very accurate.
That day the dogs on the contest were accepted by two dachshund kind specialists.
Anton finally acquired a class victory, Cille also very good a fine result.
